Arts on Erie
June 23rd - June 28th
A Week-long arts programs for Children learning various crafts and activities at Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial Visitor Center. Week kicks off with a Family Night Concert at the Perry Memorial visitor center at 7p.m.
The 5th Annual Pyrate Fest weekend at the Bay
June 28th - July 1st
Pyrates invade Put-in-Bay's downtown harbor Friday at 4 p.m. to open the 2013 Put-in-Bay Pirate Fest. Saturday has a Pirate Parade and Costume Contest for kids and adults, Pyrate marketplace and displays, A Kids fun fest and black powder firing demonstrations. Monday is the infamous Cardboard Boat Races at 6 p.m. in the downtown harbor. Reenactors demonstrate sword fighting techniques and the art of skullduggary. Fireworks Saturday at dark.

Canada Day

Celebrate Canada with cake and learn about our partnership with Canada and the long-lasting peace between our countries for almost 200 years at the Perry's Victory Visitor Center.
Fourth of July Fireworks
July 4th - July 4th
The island business owners and friends of the Bay will sponsor a spectacular fireworks program at dark (10pm). Fireworks will be over the downtown harbor. Enjoy a great view from the memorial and surrounding lawn. Bring a chair or a blanket.
United States Army Band Concert
July 4th - July 4th
This free concert is at 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public. The United States Army Band will perform at Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial as part of the Centennial observance of the laying of the cornerstone of the Perry Memorial.
Freedom Concert
July 6th - July 6th
The Central Ohio Symphony will perform at 6:30 p.m. on the porch at Perry's Victory Visitor Center. The concert is free and open to the general public. The symphony's performance is part of Put-in-Bay's Community Independence Day Celebration and is co-sponsored by the Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce, and the Put-in-Bay Arts Council.
Put-in-Bay Cup Soccer Challenge
July 12th - July 14th
Put-in-Bay's eigth annual "Soccer Challenge" will be held at the McCann Field near downtown. This amateur adult soccer tournament is a 6 on 6 match with rosters limited to 10 players. The tournament will be played on a 60 by 40 pitch with no offside. Goals are 6 by 12 feet and a size 4 ball is used. The Put-in-Bay Resort & Conference Center, Island Club and the Bay Lodging Resort are recommended hotels for the tournament.
Players from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, West Virginia and Canada are expected to compete. Divisions include men's open, B, 30+ & 40+; women's open, B & 30+; coed open & recreational. Coed teams are required to have two female players on the field at all times. Put-in-Bay's 12 Days of Christmas in July
July 18th - July 29th
Island businesses decorate for the 12 days of Christmas! Food and beverage specials in a Christmas theme are featured throughout the island. Family oriented activites Sunday thru Thursday. This event is one of the busiest periods of the year so be sure to make your Put in Bay hotel reservations early! Great live entertainment and nearly the entire downtown area is decorated for Christmas. The Jet Express offers late night ferry service.
I-LYA Junior Sail Regatta
July 21st - July 25th
Junior Sailors compete for points towards national competition in various racing classes. Activities are based at the Put-in-Bay Yacht Club.
Deep Water Sailing Races

I-LYA Senior Sailing Races

For over 100 years races have gathered at Put-in-Bay to race of the Western Shore. Races can be watched from the shore of Put-in-Bay. Stop by the downtown harbor for a colorful display of sails and sleek racing craft.
Power Boat Regatta

Put-in-Bay welcomes the annual I-LYA Power Boat Regatta. Four days of activities based at Put-in-Bay Yacht Club
Barber Shop Quartets Concert at Put-in-Bay
August 9th - August 10th
The annual performance on the island by the Barber shoppers will take place at 7 pm at Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial plaza in the downtown area on Friday and the Middle bass Town Hall on Saturday. Over 20 quartets performing are expected to perform.
The 8th Annual Lake Erie Islands Historical Society's island "Auction for History"
August 10th - August 10th
Annual auction benefiting the Lake Erie Islands Historical Society Museum, 4 p.m. Viewing begins at 1 p.m. Preview live auction items and bid on silent auction items Friday night, August 9, at 4 p.m. at the Event Center. The auction will be held at the Event Center on Concord. Check the museum website, leihs.org for more info.
Roundhouse Bars Bartender Olympics!
August 13th - August 13th
Sponsored by the Roundhouse Bar, this popular island event is held on the main strip Delaware Avenue and inside the red round bar. Competition begins at 7 pm with a parade and the lighting of the Olympic torch. Local bars and restaurants perform unique skits and zany theatrics.
VOLLEYBALL BATTLE ON PUT-in-BAY
August 17th - August 18th
For more than 25 years volleyball players have competed in this day long tournament held the last few years at McCann Field on Toledo Avenue near downtown Put-in-Bay. Key West Days at Put-in-Bay
August 23rd - August 24th
Island entertainers who perform on Put-in-Bay in the summer and in Key West in the winter will participate in the annual "Key West Days at Put-in-Bay." Key West held its first "Put-in-Bay Days" in February of 2005 with a huge turnout of northerners seeking to escape the winter cold. The 20th Annual 5-iron Classic Golf Tournament
August 25th - August 25th
Take home $10,000 in cash if you sink a hole-in-one or one of three other great prizes! Plus prize packages for each of the nine holes at the 19th Annual 5-Iron Classic sponsored by E-Z-GO Golf Carts. Four-player teams are permitted to use just a 5-iron and a putter to compete for more than $25,000 in prizes, including a new golf cart, golf bags, clubs and more. Also great raffle prizes, a picnic lunch, beverages and greens fees. Everything is included in $120 fee per team.
Annual Labor Day Bash at the Bay weekend
August 30th - September 2nd
Invite your friends and family for this three day weekend at Put-in-Bay! Many of the islands most popular entertainers appear for multiple venues and be sure to book your lodging early as this weekend books fast! Stay for Monday nights "White Spider Night" the annual "waving off" of the last ferry of the day but not the season complete with fireworks and live entertainment.
Historical Weekend
September 6th - September 8th
This family oriented weekend offers a wide variety of family activities including the Grand Parade on Saturday at 2:15 p.m. with antique and classic cars, numerous area bands and dignitaries. Boy Scout Camp-O-Ree at the Perry Memorial. Musket & Cannon firing demonstrations. Art in the Park featuring regional artists, photographers, potters, painters, silversmiths, and displays, downtown DeRivera Park on Saturday.
Art in the Park Downtown DeRivera Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a wide variety of area and regional artist displaying and selling their work. The Grand Parade starts at 2:15 pm on the main street in downtown Put-in-Bay.
The Toledo Symphony's first concert of the 2013 season will commence at 6:30 pm on the lawn behind the Perry's Victory Visitors Center.
Historical Weekend Grand Parade
September 7th - September 7th
Local and regional dignitaries join 1200 scouts, classic cars, four high school marching bands, the captain of the USS Lake Erie, area veterans and 1812 re-enactors for the annual Grand Parade at 2:15 p.m.
Art in the Park
September 7th - September 8th
Area and regional arts and craftspeople display and sell their original works in photography, watercolor, acrylic, pottery, silver smithing, glass, stained glass, fabric, wood and paper. Live demonstrations and silent auction that benefits the Put-in-Bay Arts Council. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in DeRivera Park.
Muffins vs. Mossbacks Historical Baseball Game
September 8th - September 8th
Annual match played at the ball field on Concord Avenue. The Ohio Historical Society Muffins challenge the Put-in-Bay Mossbacks using the original rules of baseball. Game begins at 2 p.m. Refreshments available with all proceeds benefitting the Lake Erie Islands Historical Society Museum. Sponsored by Miller Boat Line.
The 40th Annual new Years at the BAY!!

Put-in-Bay welcomes you to enjoy holiday festivities including the very popular Monte Carlo casino style gambling downtown Put-in-Bay on Delaware Avenue from 6 pm to 11 pm on Saturday night. Put-in-Bay Road Race Reunion
September 20th - September 22nd
Classic sports car owners recreate the post WWII road races around the island from 1952-1959 and again in 1963. 10th Annual Miller Boat Line 5K Race.

Join more than 600 runners in a challenging race around the island. Come root for your favorite runner or walker. Proceeds benefit Mother of Sorrows Church. The 38th Annual Put-in-Bay Fire Department Clambake

38th annual island style Clam Bake sponsored by the Put-in-Bay Volunteer fire department. The event is held Saturday afternoon from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Fire Station on Concord Avenue. Bake includes a dozen clams, 1/2 chicken, and corn. Potato, fresh fruit and vegetables. Carry out is available! Tickets are $25.00 per person. Put-in-Bay Volunteer Fire Departments 5 Alarm Texas Hold Em Tournament

Island firefighters hold the annual Texas Holdem Tournaments to raise funds for equipment upgrades for the island department. Two tournaments, one at noon and the second at 6 p.m. held at the fire station on Concord Avenue. Refreshments available.

The 10th annual Island Wine Festival

Sample more than 350 foreign and domestic wines, including island wines from Heineman Winery and Put-in-Bay Winery, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of good food, and excellent wine. Sample tickets are $1 and most samples are in the $1-$4 range. Purchase a full bottle to take home. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Dollar House winery downtown.
33rd Annual Fall Bay Regatta

The 19th annual Island Oktoberfest

This Put-in-Bay family tradition celebrates Oktoberfest with lots of food and live entertainment by the Maxx Band. Great family fun Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm and Sunday from noon to 5 pm. Enjoy a wide variety of German foods including spatzel, cabbage rolls, brats, sauerbraten, Wiener schnitzel and all your favorite German sweets! This event is held under a large tent located on Toledo Avenue near the downtown depot. Entry is $4.00 or $6.00 for a 2 day pass. Children 12 and under free when accompanied by an adult.
