Brig Niagara Ship Visits Put-in-Bay

The Put-in-Bay Visitors & Convention Bureau is pleased to announce that the sleek and colorful U.S. Brig Niagara will once again return to Put-in-Bay Ohio as part of the Pirate Fest weekend. The Niagara Ship will be docked at the downtown Put-in-Bay Docks for public viewing. Visitors will have the opportunity to take a Deck Tour and a four hour Day Sail. This wonderfully preserved warship is famed for her role in the Battle of Lake Erie when according to Put-in-Bay history books Commodore Oliver H. Perry defeated the British Fleet and commandeering control over the western basin of the lower Great Lakes.
