MARRIED-Put-in-Bay News reports the marriage of Tony Joyce & Chris Strobel-Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Joyce who were married at the Put-in-Bay St. Paul’s Church on March the 16th 2017. Tony, who works at the Put-in-Bay Utility Dept., and Chris, who is the manager of the Put-in-Bay Senior Center, planned a very small wedding for St. Patrick’s Day before heading out to the St. Patty’s parade in Cleveland and a warm weather honeymoon.

They both live and work on Put-in-Bay so their friends would not hear of a “small” wedding. Tony’s coworkers from the water plant, Chris’s people from the Senior Center and others wanted to surround them on the joyful occasion. The weather wasn’t cooperating so the wedding was moved to St. Patrick’s Day Eve (March 16th) to ensure they would be able to make their flight.

Chris and Tony’s friends decided they needed to have all the trimmings at their wedding so the car was decorated with signs and 10 cans which were heard by Put-in-Bay residences all the way from the church to the dock when they headed off for their honeymoon.

Dave Washtock & Margaret Krob-Best wishes to Dave Washtock and Margaret Krob were married on March 11th in Tombstone, AZ. Among those attending the wedding were locals from the Four Deuces Bar. Dave is one of the owners of Erie Island Carts and Margaret is a nurse (RN, RT & RCT) at University Hospital in Cleveland.
