T&J’s Smokehouse Particulars
There’s a loaded menu for T&J’s Smokehouse, so you can be sure your whole team will find something they’ll enjoy. Start with the fried green tomatoes or the firecracker shrimp, quickly becoming an island favorite. Another very special appetizer that people enjoy is the Thai Five Spice Ahi Tuna. Get a chicken wings order, either bone-in or boneless, and try out one or two of the 8 sauces from T&J. They have standards, such as hot buffalo and BBQ, but the Cowboy Sauce and the Caribbean Jerk are recommended.
T&J’s Smokehouse The Sides Will Keep You Coming Back!
You’ll see there are some great sides to choose from to go with your meal when it’s time for the main course. The stand out’s are the asparagus and the garlic fries. However, make sure to pair them with a burger, since that’s the calling card of T&J’s Smokehouse. Try the Wrangler, with pulled pork, cheese, and BBQ sauce topped with it. However, whichever burger you want, you’ll get a delicious USDA Angus beef patty and a great meal.

If you think you have what it takes, stop by T&J’s Smokehouse, home of the island’s only mechanical bull. However, if you take him on, we hate to break it to you, our money’s on Brisket! You are only permitted to ride Brisket at the age of 18 and above, and you must sign a waiver.

As a fish & seafood addict, this is one of my fave meat places. From the wings to the burgers, to the pulled pork, to the bacon-wrapped meatballs, it’s all so delicious! The beer is cold & the whiskeys are abundant. Their mixed drink specials? Always inventive & mighty tasty. And their staff is just delightful! THEN THERE’S THE LIVE ENTERTAINMENT!
It’s a seasonal island. Everything is expensive. TJ’s is just a great value.
The drinks were priced reasonably, we did not eat but we did enjoy the atmosphere and the servers, we even had fun riding the bull

They are a Western-themed BBQ joint & bar featuring bar, family, and outdoor seating, as well as live country music and a mechanical bull. One aspect of their notoriety is that they are Put In Bay’s only venue featuring “country” music
We traveled to Put-In-Bay for the pirate’s weekend. We stayed on the island so we had the opportunity to try several restaurants on the island. We ended up eating here twice we liked the food and atmosphere so much. They have a huge outdoor area with a stage and a stage inside as well. The price was reasonable and the live music was good.
Great barbecue sandwich with sweet potato fries with caramel sauce. Yes, caramel! It is a great accessory to the fries. Service was fast. The staff was friendly! Chili cheese dog was also a hit with my companion. Would definitely go back!
The brisket is fabulous! They have hand-cut fries and I loved them! The chicken strips and sweet potato fries were also family favorites. The food was a little pricey but did not break the bank. Our waitress was so friendly and she took the time to answer our questions.
The only thing I did not like was the bathroom. It was cramped and not all facilities were in working order. Other than that, I would definitely visit again.
We walked into T&J’s Smokehouse at lunchtime and we were seated quickly. Ashton our server was great. Made suggestions for drinks that were spot on. Lunch was ordered. The meatballs were delish. Side salads perfect size. Chili dog fantastic. Sweet potato fries were great with Carmel sauce. Yum. The coleslaw was just eh. Great place. Ashton made our lunch very nice.
