During our two-night stay in September, we found English Pines Bed and Breakfast to be impeccably clean and comfortable. Its location was ideal, just a couple of blocks away from the bustling downtown area, providing a peaceful retreat from the noise and commotion. Prior to our reservation, we perused the room map and opted for one of the larger rooms, room #4.

The bed was exceedingly cozy and provided a restful night's sleep. Our private bathroom was modern and nicely updated, providing an overall enjoyable experience. Breakfast service involved a self-serve coffee station, and guests would simply inform the owner of their breakfast preferences, and he would prepare it for them on a tray while wearing gloves and a mask. The dining area was minimalistic yet spotlessly clean. All in all, we found our stay at English Pines Bed and Breakfast to be a pleasant one, and we would not hesitate to stay here again if given the opportunity. It is our favorite put-in-bay bed and breakfast

Our group of 9 recently had the pleasure of staying at the English Pines Bed & Breakfast hosted by Liz and Doug Knauer. My fiancé and I have visited this beautiful B&B several times in the past, and we wanted to share this delightful experience with our loved ones this June. Upon arrival, we were all pleased to find that each antique-furnished room was uniquely decorated, equipped with a mini-fridge, and had updated bathrooms. The cleanliness of the accommodations was impeccable, and everyone expressed their satisfaction with the level of comfort provided. The breakfast was delicious, and our gracious hosts made sure to cater to our dietary needs. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the front porch and our evenings admiring the glorious gardens while enjoying a glass of wine before dinner. The location of the B&B was perfect, being a short stroll away from all the town's attractions yet situated on a quiet street for a peaceful night's rest. also close to the put-in-bay hotels whee our friends were. The spotless surroundings only added to the overall comfort and satisfaction of our stay. Our group couldn't have been more pleased with our experience at English Pines Bed & Breakfast, and it was a true reflection of the excellent service we experienced on every visit. English Pines Bed and Breakfast is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing getaway in Put-in-Bay. During our recent visit, Doug, the property owner, helped us plan our stay by providing suggestions for places to visit and things to do. Despite the many changes to the island since our last visit in the 1960s, Perry's Monument still remains a prominent landmark. We were pleased to find that Doug's recommendation NOT to bring our car on the Millers Ferry to make our stay hassle-free, even during the end of the tourist season. English Pines is conveniently located just 500 yards away from downtown Put-in-Bay, making it easy to explore the many restaurants, shops, and bars the area offers. It was also close to the put-in-bay resort where we went swimming. The setting of the bed and breakfast is truly serene, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment. Doug's hospitality made our stay all the more enjoyable. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable and pleasant experience. We appreciated his recommendations and enjoyed spending time on the front porch with a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening, admiring the beautiful gardens and taking in the peaceful atmosphere.

We were impressed by the cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms, each furnished with unique antiques and featuring updated bathrooms and mini-fridges. The breakfast was also a highlight of our stay, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. I had a wonderful experience trying out a new bed and breakfast English Pines on Put-In-Bay. The room I stayed in was not only clean but also extremely comfortable - I melted into the mattress! The staff were awesome and couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I was pleased to find that there were several varieties of coffee and tea available, including decaf options. Breakfast was a delicious spread with fresh fruits, oatmeal with toppings, bread, bagels and cream cheese, boiled eggs, waffles, and sweet bread. I loved spending time on the porches, which were furnished with comfortable furniture and offered a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beautifully manicured landscape. The location was perfect for me, as it was far enough away from the busy Town center to offer peace and quiet, but still within a 15-20 minute walk. Thank you to Doug and the rest of the staff for making my stay so pleasant.

The accommodations were perfect for us. The beds were ultra-comfortable, and we all loved the blankets between the top sheet and comforter (where can we get them?). The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the bathrooms were nicely appointed, with several upgrades that made a difference. The location of the B&B was excellent - a few streets away from town but still within walking distance and quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. The aroma of breakfast in the morning was beautiful to wake up to, and we all loved the coffee. It was also great to have free WiFi, which worked perfectly during our stay. We have also stayed at arbor inn put-in-bay. We would recommend English Pines Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking for a change from traditional hotel rooms.
