Biergarten at the Boathouse is a great location to begin your Put-in-Bay trip. It's about a two-minute walk right off the Jet Express ferry, and usually, it's the first place you'll find where you can be seated in under 20 minutes. They have fun island shots and specialty cocktails to taste, along with a full kitchen.

Definitely coming back. Cool interpretation of a German garden. Biergarten at the Boathouse has ping pong and cornhole for quick amusement and good German beers on tap.

We needed a site to stop and grab a quick nibble before catching the ferry back to the mainland. The Biergarten at the Boathouses served as that site! We got the Bavarian pretzels with cheese and a hotdog because we "missed the boat" on the bratwurst. The things we did receive were tasty for their simplicity! I didn't get many photos because we decided just to eat it instead. Haha

A great addition to Put-in-Bay. The Biergarten at the Boathouse has a solid sampling of German beers, delicious German sausage, and an amusing games area out back with giant Jenga, ping pong, and cornhole—a fun place to get out from the craziness of downtown.

The first time here was awesome what they did with the former drive-thru party store. Great German beers. Nice surprise that they had an extra pretzel with cheese sauce and mustard. I love the Biergarten at the Boathouse backyard area. I will come back as we visit Put-in-Bay innumerable times.

Grapefruit beer!-I am not a large beer drinker. I went with two additional people. We all ordered steins of German Beer. Awesome price, and each of us ordered a different beer. We all agree it was the best Beer on the island and well priced.

Great Place for a Drink and A Game!-The Biergarten at the Boathouses is away from the main visitor area. It has a cute bar outdoors and a patio with tons of seating options. In complement to the choice of beers, they offer pretzels, sausage, and additional options. The fun part is that they also have tons of games to play, like Connect Four, Yahtzee, cards, etc. It's an entertaining place out of the central area to have a few libations and unwind. In the same location small store with picnic-type supplies.

Great Place and Drinks, Cigars, and Games! We stopped in Biergarten at the Boathouse after wandering around Put-in-Bay and found it fun! She had a German Cabernet. I had a flight of beers pursued by the Warsteiner Pilsner - all amazing! They have an outside protected area with games such as cornhole and others. And they carry excellent cigars! We immensely enjoyed our visit and will return! Nice addition to put-in-bay restaurants

Great authentic German Beer at Biergarten at the Boathouse. We loved the bartender. He let us test all the German beers. I had a Gigantic Booth and watched golf at the bar. Super neat and quiet, I will be back for sure!

Island Time-It was my first stop off with my friends as Biergarten at the Boathouse was the first bar we saw as we got onto the island, we got some shots, of course, but I tried their German Beer, and it was fantastic! They had great bartenders but I enjoyed the atmosphere even more.

Great spot to have a beverage while the family played games! Outdoor seating in front or the back of the facility! We chose to sit in the back Biergarten at the Boathouse, where picnic tables and jumbo games (Jenga, connect four corn Hole, etc. ). All German-themed food and Beer! Try the Gigantic pretzel and German Chocolate Cake! Biergarten at the Boathouse was fun!

Fun spot! Excellent beers, great food, and a fun atmosphere! The back area is filled with Jenga, cornhole, and a huge connect 4. We had a good afternoon here! I definitely will come again!
