Excellent bar, service, and food. Due to being on business travel, I was a party of one at the bar for lunch. No problem, a nice lady took my order and then chatted. I enjoyed the conversation; the beer was cold, and the food came out. Wow! Cajun Mac-n-cheese was terrific. Like me, the noon crowd was older, It was festive but not raucous, just people having a good time. One of these days, I intend to bring my wife to South Bass Island, and I know right where to take her for a good meal...The Boathouse Bar And Grill.

My Chicken Quesadilla tasted delicious and had a thin wrap(?), served hot and with two dips. My husband enjoyed his flatbread with sausage! Boathouse Bar And Grill did not disappoint.

Boathouse Bar And Grill has Amazing food and Great prices. So good! I got the Jambalaya with shrimp worth every penny. My husband and mom got build-your-own burgers. The children got fish sticks and chicken fingers. All for 75$! Great deal. Excellent service and quality and environment (in the afternoon)

Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. The hanging blossoms are so attractive and gorgeous. So is the park view in front. Sarah kindly served me hot water for my drink and thought of lemon slices. Boathouse Bar And Grill was a good experience.

I loved Boathouse Bar And Grill a lot for the food. We sat in an open-air section adjoining the road and didn't feel any disturbance. We ordered a lot of food, including seafood, and everything was good. We were there on memorial day weekend, yet the people here are really nice. The seafood platter here is delectable. The fish was very fresh. Recommend highly. Really like the boat house put-in-bay entertainment schedule

I definitely recommend the Boathouse Bar And Grill place to anyone visiting the bay. They are less expensive than the other restaurants downtown, and yet the food is just as good. The creole mac and cheese were delicious.

Chow was tasty, and if you're lucky like us, you will get Mike as a waitperson, which will make a wonderful meal even better. I ordered the Jambalaya with the extra shrimp, and it was scrumptious. I couldn't help myself, though, when it came to my wife's loaded tots... I only had a few or half, but who was measuring? We both had a duo of bucket drinks, and although I'm a lightweight, these things were not light on the oh yeah. Great stop at the Boathouse Bar And Grill

Some of the best food on the Island, as always. Been eating here for 40+ years, always have an exceptional meal at a reasonable price. Fresh Walleye and perch are always unique, as are their cheeseburgers. boathouse bar and grill put in bay is my favorite!
