Stopped by Margaritas On The Rock for a quick bite and Margarita while touring the island. We got the classic by the pitcher, which was about 3 glasses worth. Ordered the perch basket with fries which was 2 pieces of perch and fries. A little small on portion size, however, it was very good. A solo entertainer playing Buffet songs really helped set the mood.
We have stopped in Margaritas On The Rock daily for a drink or three while here. Great bartenders (Jackie) and people watching. The place is on the quieter side. Prices reasonable. Never had food here so I can’t comment on that aspect.
Stopped in Margaritas On The Rock and had an outdoor drink after dining elsewhere during a mid-week afternoon. Not crowded. Street-view seating in the shade was perfect! Drinks came by the glass, and that’s what they used which was a plus.
I enjoyed my reasonably priced ($9) red sangria while people-watching in the warm lake breeze. The service was friendly and fast. We were checked on, but not pestered. Nice. Country music was a little loud. Not much to my liking, but I know it’s fairly popular.
Went to Margaritas On The Rock twice yesterday. Our last day in Put-in-Bay and needed to revisit a place for lunch that we loved the last visit so we had a margarita pitcher at 11 and a monumental after later that night.. VERY good and the 2 bartenders were Great!! Gave the reusable glass to our hotel neighbors so they could enjoy today as it was our last day today there.
My wife & I enjoyed Margaritas On The Rock and the giant 42oz margaritas they serve here. Although they’re a bit pricey, they were very tasty! There is live music most of the time, and the service is very good.
Get the perch tacos!! We Loved it! We were here on a weekday so we were the only customers. The bartender was great, gave us lots of information, and patiently answered all of our questions. The set-up was really cool; definitely made you feel like you were in the tropical islands somewhere. Margaritas were good, too. But the FOOD!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!We got a perch sandwich on a pretzel bun and the perch tacos and they were both SO GOOD I’m salivating just thinking about them. Margaritas On The Rock is definitely a must-stop.
Best Margaritas on the Rock! It’s a beautiful outdoor bar with an island, tiki feel. The staff is smiling, happy, and ready to chat about island history or what to choose from the Southwestern menu! I really enjoy the strawberry margarita on the rocks paired with the killer perch tacos. Make sure you find some time to stop by Margaritas On The Rock and visit this place!
We came back over Labor Day weekend because we liked Margaritas On The Rock so much in July! She had the Classic Margarita – I had the Barbarita Margarita both were excellent! We also ordered the soft tacos – she had the chicken and I beef taco. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!
