Cameo Pizza is a Put-in-Bay tradition. Cameo is a family-owned joint that has served fresh, hot pizza since 1936, placing love into everything they create. Come on and join a Put-in-Bay summer custom with an entire pizza or a piece.

Cameo Pizza was newly relocated into Mr. Ed’s Bar and Grille. Now the island’s special pizza place is in everyone’s favored pub. Pizza enthusiasts can now enjoy restaurant-style indoor dining. Sit down and enjoy a piece of this remarkable pizza, along with a beverage.

Mama Lococco, the matron of the Cameo clan, established this family custom back on Monroe Street in Sandusky, Ohio. The family served her friends out of her own house, Old World Italian Style. She prepared everything from pasta to pizza.

The very illustration of homestyle, her kitchen restaurant, was converted into the Cameo Pizza everyone knows and treasures today.

Cameo Pizza Information

Put-in-Bay visitors are known for reveling late into the night during the summer. They create their pizza dough fresh every day. Carry-out service and delivery are available all summer long. Cameo delivers until 3 am when the party environment is still going strong.

The rich, savory sauce and a secret blend of cheeses, known as the celebrated Cameo Blend Cheese, make this pizza one of the finest on the island. Its backdrop is perfect, right in the core of downtown on Delaware Avenue.

Their menu consists of household favorites, like pepperoni and cheese to Margherita and their signature take on the pizza pie. Their skillful mixture of ingredients makes for some genuinely memorable bites.

This includes Zesty Mex, Broccoli Cheddar, and BLT pies. The well-rounded menu is made complete with appetizers and sandwiches, so there is invariably something for every appetite.

Mr. Ed’s is always hopping during the summer season. This large, friendly bar has strong drinks, sports TV, and great live music all summer. Now the Put-in-Bay Cameo Pizza lives inside Mr. Ed’s, and folks can appreciate a slice of pizza with a cold one! Cameo Pizza has surprisingly pleasing pizza, and I enjoyed the sandwich and additional snacks on the menu as well. However, the pizza is certainly the highlight. Fine sauce, a pleasing crust, and adequate choices of toppings. They also include salads and things of that type. The establishment is inside Mr. Eds Bar, which is a downright cool bar. Cameo Pizza does delivery to hotels and rental homes on the island.

We vacationed at Put-in-Bay during the week and during the fall seasons. Many places had various hours or were closed altogether, but Cameo Pizza inside Mr. Ed's was available, so we had it both evenings we were at Put-in-Bay, and we were not dissatisfied! Amazing! Cameo Pizza is my 2nd most favorite pizza I have ever tasted! Yum. We consume pizza at least one time when we travel, and we travel fairly frequently. The toppings are finely chopped up, which is a significant perk to me when it comes to onions. I actually took pieces home from vacation because it was so pleasing. A bonus. We used the delivery service, and it was so speedy. I would state it was only approximately 15 minutes which seems unimaginable, but that is what you call excellent service. The mozzarella cheese sticks, which were like a pizza, were awesomely good. It was pretty much a cheese pizza with cheese and garlic flavoring. I highly recommend it. We got barbecue chicken wings, too, and they were exceptionally pleasing. When we are ever in this area again, we will 100% be getting Cameo Pizza at least one evening, probably more! A great alternative to other put in bay restaurants

A Fantastic Speedy Late Lunch-After traveling to South Bass Island in the early afternoon, my spouse and I were famished and looking for a light lunch. While I dropped off the golf cart, we wandered across the street to Cameo Pizza and submitted an order for a little sausage and onion pizza. We brought it back to our hotel and sat on the front patio, eating it while people watching. My spouse had overlooked the bottle of Pepsi he requested and had to take the short trek back to Cameo Pizza. He had no problem getting the bottle for which he had paid.

We stayed at one of the Put-in-Bay Hotels for a weekend. On both Friday night and Saturday night, we called Cameo Pizza. I am a gigantic pizza lover, and I can be very critical and very particular. I can honestly say this is some of the best pizza I have ever had. The pizza is a little bit on the pricey side, but it is well worth the cost. The workers are very accommodating and friendly, they are open until 3:30 am, and they actually deliver if you are visiting the island in 30-45 minutes. It sucks we live so far out because we would be regular patrons!

Great Pizza! I adore finding fine pizza places when I tour, and this is a wonderful spot. Pizza was ready in 10 minutes after ordering. I like thin crust, and that's how it was crafted. I ordered a pepperoni pizza. It was excellent, and I definitely recommend Cameo Pizza if you are in Put In Bay. They are open until 2/3 am. So a superb spot for late-night pizza! We also liked Put-in-Bay Pizza Company.

One of the best pizzas on the island! When my family and I stay at Put-in-Bay, we head to Cameo Pizza quite often-it's a minute or two from the Put-in-Bay hotels we generally stay at. The pizzas take approximately 20 minutes or so if you are requesting a new pizza, but after 11 pm at night, they have pieces of pepperoni pizza for sale for $3.00 per slice. They also have cooked and ready pizzas at that juncture, but they are only pepperoni and will cost you $20.00 for a large pizza. I'm not a big pepperoni fan, but their pepperoni pizza is not too hot and tastes fantastic. They are open from 11:30 am until 3 am and offer delivery on the island. There are a few small tables with chairs inside Cameo, but there is a large patio outdoors, and there is a picnic table.

Thank Heaven for Cameo Pizza! Put-in-Bay is a small Lake Erie community where individuals arrive chiefly to drink and experience whatever foodstuffs happen to be open. Farm to table? No! These pizzas are not produced from frozen anything. Excellent for late-night dining. Great for chow: YES! And far more reasonable, fresher, and reasonably priced than the offerings from many other Put-in-Bay restaurants

The Team was pleasing to us! It was daytime and very hot when we stopped at Cameo Pizza. The women that we experienced when we stepped in were not only nice but brought water to us awesomely fast because of the heat. We ordered two pizza pies, and they were extremely good. Awesome Submarines and Pizzas! We visited Put-in-Bay in September and had Cameo Pizza delivered on time. We wanted a pepperoni pizza, a small order of meatballs, and cheese sticks. Delivery was about 45 minutes. The chow was delicious, and we both were impressed with the pizza. I'd suggest this restaurant for take-out, delivery, or a late-night nibble.
