Help make this beautiful walking trail a better place.
Keeping Fit!
In keeping with our Summer Library Challenge, we are trying to “Build a Better World” by keeping fit! Join us each Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. at the Put-in-Bay library entrance for our walk around the island. Don’t worry! We will start with short distances and gradually increase each week. Stay healthy in 2017!
Nature Story Times
For the little children, let’s “Build Better Readers” this summer by joining us for our new “Nature Story Times.” The first one will be at the school bleachers at the ball field on Wednesday, June 7th and the second on Wednesday, June 21st at the Lake Erie Islands NatureCenter. Both will begin at 11 a.m. and feature stories, songs, games, and crafts. Parents or caregivers are asked to stay with children for this half-hour program.
Bingo for Books
The all-time favorite program of “Bingo for Books” will be held on Tuesday, June 6th at 5 p.m. at the Put-in-Bay Library. Join us for an exciting evening of Bingo. We have the cards and books for prizes. You just show up for an evening of fun! Lots of great books to choose when a “BINGO” is called! It is suggested that participants know how to play Bingo and how to read numbers 1 to 75. Younger patrons will want to have a parent or caregiver stay to assist.
