Just down the road from Frosty’s, famous shops such as the Country House, the Lake Erie Islands Resale Shop, and Local Color, you can find great shopping. The nearby Chicken Patio is a great place to dine and watch the world pass by!

Loved this place!! I got a walking taco and Big Man’s Burrito Stand and my husband got a wet burrito. It was a good amount of food, and it was delicious! Definitely will be eating here again if we go back.
This restaurant-bar has inside seating but as the day was wonderful and sunny we sat out back at the Big Man’s Burrito Bar. The menu was southern focused and featured the Taco Bar as well as individual order items. I had their Taco salad and quite enjoyed it, and my partner had gyros on flatbread and also enjoyed that. Prices are average, and their drink list had some fun concoctions on it, as well as wine, local beers, etc. The staff was very friendly and the wait times were short.
Some of the best Mexican food I have had for a long time at the Big Man’s burrito stand. It was very large and was excellent. The back outside area is great and a very fun atmosphere for dancing late at night.

Frosty Bar has been open some sixty years. They are a casual sports bar with big-screen TVs, a jukebox, and a “Backyard” patio with a restaurant called Big Man’s Burrito Stand. They are one of the bars/eateries on the main strip of Put In Bay. Like most places at Put-In-Bay, they are nothing fancy.
Their interior is divided into a large bar area (i.e. through the main entrance) and a family eating area through the left entrance (i.e. below the Frosty Pizza sign). Directly behind Frosty Bar is their Big Man’s Burrito Stand which is is an outdoor venue that serves fresh fruit margaritas, specialty cocktails and offers entertainment under the stars. They have a bar, hightop, and table seating in the bar area.
In the family area and outback in The Big Man’s Burrito, they have table seating. / dinner menu features pizza, subs, wraps, and salads. Big Man’s Burrito Stand,” with quick-serve food – tacos, nachos, salads, burritos, and burgers. We stopped in for breakfast and tried their Spicy Peppercorn Bloody Mary (good) and a selection of their breakfast items.
Big Man’s Burrito Stand is our favorite lunch spot. Each time we come to Put in Bay, our first stop is always here! The beer is cold and the tacos are killer. There are many choices of specialty pizzas in the front as well as sandwiches, salads, and pop. My only concern is some of the employees have difficulty communicating because of their language barriers. These young ones shouldn’t take orders until they have a better understanding of our language. Mistakes were made to my order because of this.
