Goat Soup And Whiskey Where Fresh Is Defined!

The talented Goat Soup And Whiskey chefs have created a menu to please any palate. They take pride in every dish they serve, which shows in their creative presentations. The three on-site gardens provide many fresh vegetables and herbs in their dishes.

Other herbs, vegetables, and fruits in their entrees and cocktails are fresh from local markets and farms, such as Bergmans Orchards on the mainland. There is no substitute for the difference fresh ingredients make in their flavorful entrees.

Fresh does not end with their gardens! it extends to their seafood which features Lake Erie Yellow Perch and Walleye, two of the finest freshwater-eating fish on the planet! Caught fresh daily from Lake Erie, the Perch is the prime ingredient in their popular Perch Tacos, favored by locals and tourists alike.

Hand-fileted Perch is lightly dusted with breading and fried, then served in a warm tortilla with their secret “pali wali” sauce and cabbage mixture. The Walleye is expertly prepared in several styles depending on your preference.

Equally as popular are their delicious secret recipe homemade soups. They rotate their soups daily, using only the finest ingredients and slow-cooking methods. Be sure to ask your Goat Soup And Whiskey server about the soup specials served by the cup or bowl. Definitely worth checking out!

Highest Quality Restaurant on the Island- We just returned from a Put-in-Bay visit and were pleasantly surprised to try this quality gourmet restaurant for dinner. We each had one of the walleye meals and found them superb. We tried it based on other reviews and were satisfied. If you plan to eat at Goat Soup And Whiskey on the weekend, reservations are necessary. We had about a half-hour wait on a Tuesday without reservations. However, worth the wait! goat soup and whiskey menu was the bomb!

Surpassed our expectations-Our hotel recommended the Goat Soup And Whiskey as a quality dining experience. We were impressed with the environment, service, and food. Dining on the terrace was so relaxing with the cool, clear weather. And the food! I chose two appetizers and half a House Salad, and my friend had the ribeye steak served with seasonal vegetables. Fresh bread and dipping oil with balsamic were served as we lingered for our meals - very delicious. My half-salad was a plentiful serving of beautiful colorful mixed greens. The oysters Rockefeller were brought piping hot and absolutely delicious; the loaded mushroom caps (Italian sausage) baked with cheese and flavorful marinara were also burning out of the oven and delectable. The steak cooked perfectly, and the freshly cooked vegetable mix still had body and was not overcooked. We're already conversing about another island visit and plan to make this location a part of the adventure.

Get the soup!!! Amazing service and food. Goat Soup And Whiskey gluten-free selection could be better but overall, the meals and drinks are excellent. We sat on the patio, and that helped an awesome atmosphere. I had the lime and coconut drink, New England clam chowder, and the shrimp po boy. Great food!

Excellent food, wonderful service at Goat Soup And Whiskey Creme Brûlée martini, mule, and creamsicle were made perfectly! Food was given hot and incredible flavor! We'd go back—excellent restaurant and service.

Open for Dinner! WE had a lovely feast here recently. We were elated to find them open on a weeknight during the week after Labor Day. The food and courtesy were superb. We had mussels, stew and salad, and dessert. The outdoor deck is beautiful but was unfortunately packed when we visited, so we ate inside, where the tables were sufficiently spaced. All in all good experience.

Best meal of our week at Put-in-Bay! We had finished our day trip to the island and chose to check out Goat Soup And Whiskey restaurant before grabbing the ferryboat back to the mainland nd were so delighted we did. It is in a shared structure with a beer garden and ice cream, chocolate, and candy store on the outskirts of town, away from the main roads. They had specified closing hours between lunch and dinner, but when requested, the kitchen decided to fill our order as we needed to catch the final ferry out and would not have been capable of doing so with a 5 pm start to dinner. I appreciated a Basil Mojita with blackberries added, that was awesome, and my husband liked his choice of beer. The roasted beet salad and lamb burger (topped with a fried egg) were both so good! This was far above the best food experience of our week-long trip to the area! Highly suggest it! Outside and indoor dining are available (dogs were allowed at the outdoor seating). Our server was great - just a well-rounded end to our visit to the island!

This must be on your checklist if you are seeking a fantastic dinner. Came to Goat Soup And Whiskey for dinner while on a weekend vacation. Our waitperson was terrific, her timing was well paced, and her recommendations were spot on also. Be sure to give the Ruben balls a try. The New England clam chowder was the finest I have ever eaten. The tuna was seared to ideal. I also appreciated a Westcoast cooler for a hot summer day. One of the best put in bay restaurants

Delicious food and great ambiance-Had a lunch reservation here, and everything was unbelievable. The hostess, meals, waiters, and the establishment all were top-notch. The Goat Soup And Whiskey menu had some specials and specialty food, which was fantastic. My choice was the Walleye fries appetizer. They were so pleasing! The environment was laid back island time, which was so invigorating and calming. We had some beverages, good nourishment, and a good time.

A Real Gem: Based on recommendations from several locals, we had dinner at The Goat on our first evening in Put-In-Bay, then made reservations for the next evening while there. It was that good. I was searching for walleye and was satisfied. the goat menu was really good. They served it several ways, and all were scrumptious! My wife had a ribeye steak and then a filet on the second evening, enjoying both. We also loved the drinks - the best Mojito I ever had! The team is quite pleasant and observant. We will be back!

The service was excellent. Excellent place for dinner; both entrees and appetizers were fine. Had a fantastic Key Lime Martini! If you want to dine here, definitely make reservations. It's worth it.

The best food on Put-in-Bay, hands down, is at the Goat Soup And Whiskey. The best espresso martini I've ever had in my whole life. The clam chowder was the finest I've ever had as well. A large variety of choices on the menu. Beautiful terrace area for outdoor dining. I make it a point to always visit here on the island. I can't wait to go back!

Fantastic food tonight at the Goat Soup And Whiskey. I enjoyed the escargot and got my group to try them after some explaining, and they were mouthwatering. I also had the chicken marsala and the Perch. Very pleased with the meals and service and will be happy to return.

The Goat Soup And Whiskey housed our entire bachelorette group, and we had excellent service and wonderful food! The tortilla soup was great, and my fish tacos were also delicious. We ordered tons of their appetizers to divide between the table, and everyone remarked on how amazing their fare was. We had about 20 individuals, and everyone walked away happy. The team is incredibly cordial and accommodating for our big party as well. goat soup and whiskey menu was super!
