July 4th Fireworks
Independence Day at Put-in-Bay on July 4th!
One of the most popular days of the year is the Put-in-Bay Independence Day celebration.
Island businesses and residents work together to sponsor one of the best fireworks displays on Lake Erie. Always held on July 4th by tradition, this stunning fireworks display is ignited from a barge placed in the middle of the Put-in-Bay Harbor. The Put-in-Bay July 4th Fireworks were named one of the Top Ten Places In Ohio To Watch Fireworks.
Parking will be offered at the Peace Garden Lot at the corner of Park Ave. The show is best viewed from the seawall or from the lawn of Perry’s Victory and Peace Memorial. Put-in-Bay Restaurants offering great views include the Boardwalk and the Keys! Get there early, as seating is limited. Put-in-Bay Hotels and Resorts sell out quickly for this July 4th special event, so be sure to book online early or by calling the reservation center at (419) 285-7427.
