Great place to eat! Ate at Topsy Turvey’s back in June for breakfast and this weekend and a couple of weeks ago for lunch. Love the French toast, scrambled eggs, and Cuban sandwich. Right on the water by the marina. Awesome sunset views on deck.

After a recommendation by one of the Put-in-Bay Hotels, we went for lunch with a group of six and a service dog. We sat outside at an umbrella table with really nice weather and a gorgeous view of the water. Prices were higher than when on the mainland, but our lunches were well prepared and delicious.

Topsey Turvey’s had great service. The menu ample was small with the same items listed as different options (sandwich vs. dinner)

I’ve only ever been to Topsy Turvey’s for breakfast, but each time it has been absolutely awesome! Very generous portions and good, friendly services. If you’re a fan of breakfast burritos, check this place out!

We stopped at Topsy Turvey’s and sat out front for lunch and drinks. The food was very good! Everyone loved the French fries and the onion rings were good too. The prices were reasonable and we had a great time!

Topsy Turvey’s – Put-in-Bay  This cute little restaurant and bar has a fun atmosphere with dollar bills everywhere – if you sit at the bar you can see the lake and the Boardwalk – food is good but the drinks are really good – fun people

Great Food, Fabulous Service! at Topsy Turvey’s We had an enjoyable lunch on the water here. Our server was the best we had all weekend on the island. She was friendly and on top of it. Our food was excellent – perch and the Cuban Sandwich.

Being from the Midwest I was craving fresh fried perch so we checked Tripadvisor immediately when we arrived on the island at lunchtime and decided on Topsy Turvey’s based on the reviews. Being mid-September the island wasn’t too busy so there was no wait and there were open tables outside on the deck overlooking the water and the sun was shining!

The server (which we were pretty sure she was the owner) was super pleasant and helpful in explaining the menu options. Once we made our decision, she told us a single platter would be more than enough perch for the two of us to share for lunch and she was right! Altho a bit expensive, when split between 2 you can’t beat the price for the amount of perch- 3 large fillets!

The platter came with fries (battered then fried-yum!) and they were great too alongside coleslaw and a pickle. We both walked away full and happy that we had some perfectly cooked, non-greasy, tasty, fresh perch! PS: Their beer menu is pretty extensive too! Boy, did we make the right decision!

Had a mimosa and a breakfast burrito. All I can say is wow. This place is a little goldmine. The food was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. Just make sure to get extra salsa and bring an appetite!

We stopped in the evening for our favorite libation – Brandy Alexanders! The bartender was very friendly and prepared our drinks very quickly! The ambiance is in keeping with being a local, friendly pub. There are dollar bills marked and stapled to the walls, ceiling, and wooden posts throughout the bar!

When I was a kid we had a place in Port Clinton Ohio. My dad likes to fish for perch and fresh perch were the best! I live in Columbus so when the menu reads perch I always ask if it is fresh knowing full well it is fresh frozen. I was delighted when at Put-In-Bay this week someone recommended going to Topsy Turvey’s

If I was interested in some tasty fresh perch. Boy was I glad we took her advice. The place is not fancy and not particularly clean but the service and the food were outstanding. Once you’ve experienced fresh perch you will be able to tell the difference and it is huge.

Open Air Bar – Killer Cubans Fun place on the waterfront with tables out on the deck & open-air feeling throughout. Beth our bartender was very good. The owner is a nice guy. Cold beer & great Cubans…we have had Cubans all over Florida & elsewhere…
Done right at this point…couldn’t get one the night before we left but in the morning they had their classic Cuban with the scrambled egg…so we asked for the egg on the side & viola! Don’t miss this place…next time if we are in for dinner I heard they make a wicked Rueben appetizer of some sort!!
