After seeing photos of The Boardwalk Restaurant food, I knew that this was the restaurant I needed to eat at. And I'm so glad that we stopped here. The service was excellent. For one, it took us, well, more like me, are while to figure out what I wanted to eat. And the server was so helpful. I was worried that my food would be spicy, so he told my cooks to put the sauce on the side. All of the food came out hot and tasty. I would definitely recommend stopping at the Boardwalk Restaurant.

To me, The Boardwalk Restaurant is South Bass Island's #1 put-in-bay restaurants to visit. Whether you are starving or need a good cocktail, The Boardwalk has an array of choices. You'll find something to enjoy from cheeseburgers and perch sandwiches to king crab or lobster. The "Upper Deck" is a great spot to pick a table and watch the boats come and go.

Great place to grab a bit to eat. They have quick seafood downstairs and casual dining upstairs. Great atmosphere and good staff. I recommend the boardwalk family of restaurants for anyone visiting put in bay.

Absolutely love coming to Put-In-Bay! Whether it's with my kids and family our out for a night with friends, there is always something going on. Every time we've stayed at the Resort it has been so much fun and super clean. We go back a couple times every year 🙂

The Boardwalk Restaurant has a lovely décor with beautiful water views on the upper deck. The food was a little pricy but very worth it. The service was good. We had the blackened mahi-mahi, fish and chips, side Caesar and house salads, lobster fries, and lobster mac and cheese, which were all excellent. The blackened mahi-mahi was perfect. The lobster fries are a must-have, fried and covered in a lobster bisque. The fish and chips were good, according to my friend but didn't look anything special, just as the expected fish and chips -did come with two different types of fish, which was a nice switch up. The lobster mac and cheese was also delicious.

The food at the Boardwalk Restaurant was absolutely fantastic. Not only it's a great place to get a nice view of the bay, but it is also a great place for a nibble as well. Try the lobster poutine and the Maine lobster roll. The roll was perfectly toasted, buttered, and filled with so much lobster meat. Definitely a great place for fresh seafood

We always head to The Boardwalk Restaurant at least once a year so I can get the lobster bisque in a sourdough bread bowl, and they have never let me down! The boardwalk upper deck menu is pretty large. So yummy and so filling. I've yet to be able to actually eat all of the bread though! Big lumps of lobster too.

The Boardwalk Restaurant was WHY we went to Put-in-Bay. Saw roadside billboards advertising their lobster bisque. I love lobster bisque, so I had to go there. The lobster bisque did not disappoint! I've never seen that many large chunks of lobster in a bowl of soup like that before! The quality was over the top! It is pricey, though. A bowl was $14, and it wasn't a large bowl. Still, it was worth it in my opinion!

The staff was amicable and very helpful. The boardwalk menu was important as I have gluten and dairy allergies. The waitress was very knowledgeable. Also, she was willing to check with the chef when she was unsure. My food was delicious, and my husband said the same about his that he got. We would recommend this place
