Tim Daniel and Nina Harfmann, both noted professional photographers and naturalists – will provide an outstanding photography learning experience appealing to young and old alike.
You will capture the beauty of nature and sites of historical and cultural significance, review use of the “creative triangle,” aperture, ISO and shutter speed, learn principles of composition, how to read and assess the quality of light and explore more advanced photographic applications such as HDR (High Dynamic Range) and macro photography, as well as develop your personal aesthetic in classroom workshops, on-location instruction and post-camera techniques.
The Put-in-Bay Photography Program is designed for all levels of skill – from novice to advanced. The program offers something for everyone and many of the participants from last year said it was the best photography program they have ever experienced.
