Put-in-Bay Rolling Pub Debuts To Local FanFare

Put-in-Bay Ohio – Music playing, people laughing, and ten pairs of feet pedaling as the Put-in-Bay Rolling Pub makes its way along downtown streets on Saturday’s two-hour-long tour. Known as a pedal-powered party on wheels, riders choose from several tour types and use the Put-in-Bay Rolling Pub party bike to take in the sights of Put-in-Bay while making stops at many of the most popular businesses across the island. If your group is staying at one of the popular Put-in-Bay Resort Hotels, they can come to you with a reservation.Put-in-Bay Rolling Pub Tour Photo

The Put in Bay Rolling Pub is turning the heads of everyone it passes by as they wave, cheer, and grab a quick picture. Ryan McBride, the owner of Put-in-Bay Rolling Pub, began working on this idea in January of this year. He worked closely with the Village council to move through the process of starting a new business on the island.

Since then, McBride has developed partnerships with several places on the island that are excited to be stops along the tour’s pre-determined routes. All tours start and end at the Boathouse restaurant on Hartford Avenue.

Put-in-Bay Rolling Pub offers different tour types, including Put-in-Bay Bar Crawls, wine tours, parks and scenic tours, culinary progressive Put-in-Bay Restaurant tours, and exercise expeditions. It can even do custom tours such as mystery, comedy, or scavenger hunts. Tours are typically two hours in length, and the bike can be rented as a private tour, or smaller groups can rent individual seats and are grouped on a public tour. Reservations are made online at the company’s website PIBRollingPub.com.

“I wanted a bike that would appeal to a wide range of folks -tourists coming to the island from wedding parties to business and family groups and even island residents looking for something different to do,” said McBride. Riders aren’t allowed to consume alcohol while on the bike but can bring non-alcoholic drinks and snacks along for the tour, and McBride’s partner stops have all promised cold drinks waiting for Put-in-Bay Rolling Pub riders.

On Wednesday, June 28th, from noon to 4 p.m., Ryan holds a meet and greet for islanders and summer residents. Show up at the Boathouse, meet Ryan, and get a free demonstration ride. It should be great fun! For more information and to book a tour of Put-in-Bay Rolling Pub, visit their website. Follow them on social media for the latest news, updates, and discounts! Get ready to #PIBPedalParty through the summer!
