October Fun

During October, the seniors enjoyed a fun “Cider Press Potluck” with excellent homemade food and fabulous fresh pressed cider from all the island apples! A special shout-out goes to Art Otermat and Bob and Dianne Smith for all their hard work in getting the press ready for use. Many thanks to everyone who collected apples, moved the press equipment into position and worked hard for hours pressing apples into cider. I also want to thank everyone who washed and trimmed apples to ready them for use in the press. It takes a lot of time and work to put on this event!

Fall Barn Social

Our “Fall Barn Social” was also a great success! A special shout-out goes to Dave Gundlach for opening his barn for all of us to enjoy this time together! Finally, we had fun passing out yummy treats on Halloween to all the island Trick or Treaters!
